I know the flat four in my 72 Opel had already had the VW carb adjustment (The original 4 carb system was actually as temperamental as you might think and as rare...). The points where fun to work with and I'd get e'm hot enough I was arcing through an expensive set a month.

I went with MRI (*some electronic brand). Yes. Much more consistent.
