I prupose that we start a thread and cooment without any use of spell check. Post just as you write it and hit submit. Might be fun. We can always change the labels and not tell anyone about it at a later time. Capeash?

Using proper grammar and spelling is like dining etiquette - using the proper knife and the proper fork indicates your education, sophistication and ability to be accepted as an accomplished entity. Slopping up your food with a spoon or using sloppy spelling and grammar does not enhance your messaging.

Texting and emailing on my phones has has ruined my spelling. Also my handwriting has gone downhill too as i rarely need to.

Thjats the point of this topic. I have often laughed at the mistakes I've made and thought how stupid i would look if I didn't read it twice and correct things before submitting.

I don't make mistakes, just miscalculations.

My spelling's not bad but without auto-correct and spell-check my typing would be an awful mess. Thank goodness we don't have to use white-out anymore.

my spelling isn't too bad, but it's funny sometimes that i think my spell check isn't working because i spell a big word right. haha what i really need is a program that lets me know when i leave a word out. i do that all the blasted time! i probably just did and don't know it. lol

(my god. i just re-read this before hitting Submit and i HAD left a word out. the word, word. i have to go die laughing now.)

I was raised with the King's English so spell-check is not only useless, it's somewhat annoying. I have to rely on memory or Google. Google is more reliable these days.

All of my posts composed on my phone have errors. The screen is just too small to edit well, and the compose screen is not mobile-friendly. However, if Castanet had a forum App for mobile devices, then it might be much easier.

The new smartphones, ie: iPhone 6, Samsung Note 4, have much larger screens. I was never a texter until I got an iPhone 6. Trouble is, now I need a murse.

Except for Blondes, their screens are covered with the stuff.

Without the vowels person can still understand the context.
