My cat's a girl and her name is Mika (pronounced Mee-ka), it's of Native American origin and is unisex. My girlfriend's cat is Meeko (like from Pocahontas) and he's a dude.

Mika is 8 now, but my little brother randomly named her. I had her for about a week and tossed all kinds of names around. That one was perfect for her! My little Meeks :)

I had a name for my cute little male cat but then my husband started calling him Spud and now I can't remember what we called him originally!

My two others were called Roswell and Spook(y Mulder) :)

I love the name Phoenix.
We also got a kitten about 6 weeks ago. They are indeed soooo funny. I especially love when they puff up and try to look tough.
That is usually followed by that jumping sideways thing that makes me giggle just thinking about it.

Phoenix has been doing this with our senior cat Joon...it's funny and she looks at him and rolls her eyes.

Same at our house. We have an 8 year old cat that is wondering what fresh heck this is. The little one wants to play, but the older one just wants to lay around and be the king of the house. He will play a bit, then go and hide. The dynamic is like the Bugs Bunny episodes with the big dog and the little dog. "Ay Spike, ay Spike, ya wanna go chase some cats?" "Nah."
