Fairfield Animal Hospital is our choice.

Rose Valley is also very good on the Westside.

We use Fairfield, great staff and care.

This thread may be useful as well.

We've been using Dr. Mundi and Burtch Vet for our dog and cat.

I've been impressed with his knowledge and "bedside" manners.

I have had and friends have had some not so great experiences at some vets so I wont step foot in some again. Misdiagnoses and not pleasant to deal with. First impressions are everything to me when it comes to health scenarios for myself and my pets.

I tried the new place on Asher Rd in Rutland and was VERY PLEASED!

Its called Asher Rd Animal Care. Their pricing were fantastic, can actually work with a budget and they worked with me. The Dr. was very helpful, knowledgeable. He was very thorough and when we was done with exam we worked out a treatment plan which was far from what other Dr's have tried and WALLA! my pet made almost a 100% turn around within a couple days!! Was the best feeling! His smile and manner was friendly and caring (great eye contact). The front staff was super friendly and helpful as well.

In my experience the best vet hospital in the area is Tri Lake.

I used to go there and always had great success, they just got really expensive and the Dr. I dealt with them for a while became very rude and unpleasant to deal with. Stopped giving me eye contact and treated me like i/my pet wasn't important anymore. Sure your busy but it doesn't take much effort to even fake a smile and through a hi out when you walk into room.

That's too bad. I have dealt with 3 vets there (Mr. and Mrs. Kaplan and one I can't remember that's no longer there, he has an awesome beard) and a few major surgeries and never had a bad experience.
