Cat Lovers - HELP
I am hoping that I can pull at someone's heart strings here.
I have a 10 year old indoor tabby cat that was in at the doctor yesterday. Turns out she has a tooth that needs to be pulled as well as a thyroid issue that results in her being on special food/medication for the rest of her life.
Unfortunately, I am unable to afford her long term treatments and I have come to terms with the possibility of having her put to sleep. :(
I am hoping that someone out there would be willing to spare her life and take on her "special needs". I would much rather she her have a new loving family than the alternative...

Gorgeous cat.
You might have some luck in the classifieds.
Just make sure you don't give her to some whacko!

Aww. What a beauty. Did you get a second opinion on the diagnosis. I had one vet clinic recommend 4 extractions for my cat, and when I got a second opinion, they did not agree.

Her tooth is clearly broken, it's visible and definitely needs to come out.
I also seen the results of the blood work so I don't think paying the extra money for a second opinion is necessary...unfortunately :(

Approx. $60 a month.
Won't know for sure until they can get the correct dosage down.
Plus regular vet check ups to ensure she is on the right dose.

I pay approx 75 a month for my dog Piper meds. she was disgnosed over five years ago with addisons disease. It was costly at first. bloodwork every month (55.00) then three and now once a year. Worth every penny. I get her meds from London Drugs (a lot cheaper than the vet)
I don't know your financial system and it's none of my business, but I truly hope you can find a way to keep your cat.
