Proof cats don't care

Post by oneh2obabe »

Dance as if no one's watching, sing as if no one's listening, and live everyday as if it were your last.

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.

That is hilarious - interestingly, though, my cat would do that, he'd pause to see whether I really meant it and I'd repeat the 'no' and he'd stop. This woman, when the cat pauses to see the reaction, doesn't repeat it. Big mistake, lol.

I challenge your evidence.

(we've all seen it ;) )

thinking about before somebody came along and told
them they had to earn a living.

The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.

Cats don't care if you're heating the great outdoors either.

My cat Willow is driving us NUTS in this early Winter cold weather.

She wants out.
Meows her freaking head off. Misbehaves.
We go to the door, open it.
She sits down, trying to make up her mind. Should I go out?

For freaks sake, it's minus 13 out there. I nudge her to the door.
NOPE, puts the brakes on.
I close the door.

Five minutes later.... it must be Summer by now right? I want OUT. I WANT OUT NOW!!!!!

The same scenerio plays itself out.

ODDLY, same with trying to get her in. We have to practically go out there and get her to get her in at night.

WHAT THE :cuss: is it with cats?

:swear:

Finally I got fed up and just put her outside.

She look around the deck, sniffed the air, stepped out in to the sun and took off to the side yard.

Lasted 10 minutes.

CATS! Now she's inside snarfin' at the kibble dish, cold ears and all.

Does anyone else have a cat that howls and yowls when she's inside and can't wait to get back outdoors?

I have Willow doing this.
She makes it out.
Comes back in.
HOWLS to get back out, even in minus degree temps and snow haulin' down.
We have to crack open a window just to give her a sense of outdoors.
Yikes.

We mad a cat cage that exits through a window. They go out and hang in what I call the cat box. They gets some outdoors while remaining indoor cats.

our cat did that years ago. Got to the point we put a cat door in the back door for her and that solved a lot of problems. rural PG area though so we could get away with it there. She did well with the mice :)
