If they are going to start disciplining lawyers for unethical conduct best they start with the court sanctioned charade that takes place during almost every criminal court trial, and the equally corrupted rules of evidence that permit judges to refuse to enter evidence that clearly goes directly to determining guilt or innocence.

The search for justice has become a lawyer enriching, theoretical debate in criminal law that often has little to or nothing do with whether the accused committed the crime or not.

It's a sweet business isn't it. Lawyers write the laws they then get paid to interpret in court.

When I see those types of travesty of justice, especially Constitutional challenges that you know are going to inevitably cost taxpayers millions for an "interpretation", I always think of the millions that John, Paul, Ringo, and George made with "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" and what the true intended interpretation was.
