Where Can I Have a Campfire Around Vernon?

Post by therockymountains »

Howdy!
I'm new to the Vernon area and I'm wondering where are the fire pits? I want to get in as many fires as possible before the bans start. It looks like they're going to come sooner than later this year. Just looking to roast some hot dogs with the family, where in/around Vernon can I do this?

Those are quite pricey and we got the one at Costco which works well for almost half the price.

That's worked out great for me!

Thanks for the input everyone. The propane ones are not my ideal campfire but I agree, they are the best alternative to a real campfire. I'll have to run out to Allison and check it out. Thanks again!

Due to how dry it is campfire embers could cause big problems, since those propane-campfire don't give off embers (best choice under the conditions).

The guy across the street from me has a fire pit in his yard, Has it going almost every night.

Not sure it's legal though :)

I believe open flame fire pits are not legal in city limits
