I disagree - police officers are people first and make mistakes and are subject to the exact same laws as everyone else. Refresher courses and desk jobs are better options than losing a job.

old post here iam replying to but seriously man we the public see cops stretch the truth and outright lie to protect their own situation or that of a co-worker My lady friend worked in the courts and she said the worst liers in court were cops

BEST READ before posting;; first off she was a court clerk for 25 years( tons of in court testimony)
If the cop was charged provincially it would have been through the recommendation of the IIO to crown
so even though you don't seem to get the picture; no so far no formal charges
agreed as they said findings forwarded except as said It should NEVER take almost a year
no one or at least I never said this was a cover up ??????????????? although police have been known over the years to do so

What is the charge? Was their Criminal intent? Will the charge be cause of loss of trust?
