Hi:
Has anyone used the PayByPhone App in Vernon.
Was just going to download on my phone when I noticed the reviews.
Seems there was an update and now rated as the worst app ever??

My biggest complainrs are
1. Paying a 25 cent parking meter fee on a credit card.
2. Having yet another online organization have my credit card number (anyone remember the Target hack)
3. Paying a 100% surcharge on an already too high parking fee.

There's little if anything that attracts me about downtown so I almost never go there. The few businesses that I do patronize downtown offer free parking so I don't have to drive around the block three times looking for a parking spot that I then have to pay for, if I can even find one at all. 
I'm completely in favor of the separation of Church and State. My idea is that these two institutions screw us up enough on their own, so both of them together is certain death.

What annoys me the most about the parking meters in Vernon is that they dont take nickles, and dimes (a legal form currency)

Wont be using it due to the 0.25 fee.
Call me cheap if you want, but would rather waste a loonie for the city then give a 25% mark up to a 3rd party company not from Vernon.
Vernon parking is INSANE CHEAP. $10 fine if you pay in 48 hours? you cant even get 30 min in Van for $10 these days.
keep a loonie and 4 quarters in your car and you will never need to use this.
