Could it be that several of the shots were in an attempt to stop the vehicle ?

When that wasn't effective then;

A couple more shots to stop the person !

That, to me, is a more practical scenario as to why anyone would empty their sidearm.

As for asking for funds to help dude out, "Deleted By Poster"
Not :cuss: likely !

the cop fires 11 rounds of his high powered service revolver tells me he is a scared and not mentally up to the challenge of his job when in a situation such as this.

Too bad he ran out of ammo.

Dude you seriously need to stop watching cop tv shows. It clearly shows.

Why not head down to your local cop shop and speak to one about what is wrong with what you just suggested.

Probably won't though because its funner to be critical about cops then it is to walk a mile in their footsteps.

Obviously you watched too much "A-Team" in the 80's if you think shooting at tires and radiators can quickly and easily disable 3/4 ton trucks.

wheather it be a 3/4 or 1/2 ton truck is irrelevant. flatten a couple tires and have the coolant leak out , the truck and the perp would not get very far .that's pretty much fact but my only point here is not that the kid is not doing bad and has done some bad deeds this cop shooting 11 shots is crazy and there ( in my opinion) was never a need to try and kill this kid

Again you're basing your whole opinion on what you see in pictures. How do you know what really happened there to base your opinion on?

Its a photo!

Already we've seen the story change as more information comes out including a weapon charge.

Photographs can be deceiving and don't tell a whole story of course. One can base an opinion on a single photo but opinions can be wrong too.

What ever gave you the idea that the officer is mentally unstable ?

IF....there is no windshield, safety glass and/or steel in between.

5946

Those empty shells aren't from the sidearm. They're from the 5.56 carbine which SUCK at going through vehicle glass because they don't use bonded rounds.

I don't find it surprising at all that it took that many rounds from the 5.56 to stop the threat.
