Seriously, they don't know what, if anything, can be done to save them? how about get a fishing net, scoop them up and return them to the creek? What an idiotic statement, sometimes I'm embarrassed to be part of the human race :cuss:

Saving fish now? For real? Fish it out, gut it, grill it, and eat it.

There is a reason that Carp and Crap are spelled similarly.

Fine. Then fish it out, and drown them in buckets! That will show them.

Vernon residents have come to the rescue of fish trapped in a parking lot behind London Drugs.

Several people reacted to the news on Castanet and showed up with barrels and buckets to transport the fish back into BX Creek.

They had become trapped by receding flood waters.

caught a carp a few years back
have seen some Europeans catch them to eat
thought I'd give it a try
bbq
fish was so soggy, it was the consistency of saturated bread
even the cats wouldnt eat it
tossed it over a fence by the rail tracks
next year I planted a medi-plant in that spot
when it started to flower a rodent ate it
the rodent died on the very spot where the plant was

not interested in eating carp

A few years back, Mission Creek flooded into the Mission Sport fields in Kelowna.
Kokanee and a few odd trout were splashing around the fields
That was some fine picking that year

we called 'em "bucket fish"

Guess they didn't read the regs.

Illegal to trap, net/ bucket fish.
illegal to transport live fish.
