Because this isn't a TV police show where DNA tests can be done overnight. Proper DNA testing takes weeks. If Moskaluk had have said that they had two victims and it turned out to be one individual with partial remains spread over two sites, the public would be on here screaming "incompetence". Chill. The case will unfold like the universe.

They provided the information they were able to at this time. If they hadn't held a conference you would probably be asking why they were being silent.

yes I realize tests take time but they could have announced they got nothing to announce without a press conference.

Let them do their job. The information will come when they have solid information to share.

Explain exactly how they are "wasting our money" by holding a press conference? You pay the guy doing the press conference regardless of IF he is holding one. Wow that comment really stumped me.

relax its not that they should not be looking its the unneeded extravagance they go through to do these things
I hate tax waste and this is wasting man hours and funds and they have expensive unrequired equipment ;;it simply does not require this much man power and equipment

There is no shortage of legitimate examples of tax dollars being wasted... municipal, provincial and federal. If you feel so strongly about it feel free to start a thread where you can cite some real examples instead of polluting this sensitive topic with your crass comments.
