Fairview and Channel Parkway

Post by Tony »

Not sure if this has ever been brought up here, but why is there not an advance left turn light and two left turn lanes coming off Fairview onto the Channel Parkway from downtown? I've had to sit through 3 lights to get through there during peak hours. It seems a relatively simple fix.... they did it on Eckhardt.

It does plug up fairly solid around the end of the work day, especially when traffic coming from the west is thick.

Turning left to go South on the channel from Eckhardt and heading South from Vees Drive onto the channel sucks too.
And the worst of the worst, turning left to go South on Skaha Lake Road from Kinney Ave.

It's also called bad planning Southy.....

It wouldn't take that much - the lights are there, put in an advance left, and paint an arrow in the middle lane.....
