This is a return of a great event. Take the family and kids and make a day trip of it!

I like they way you are thinking. Would be able to incorporate a 1/4 miles drag strip too.
That would put a lot of bums in seats (and from out of town) every two weeks for eight months rather than one or two weekends of horse racing. Would be a nice tie in too with the race car circuit being built on the OIB lands. Osoyoos could become a mecca for car enthusiasts.
Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

It's only the developer and his son complaining and 3 or 4 old people that they managed to manipulate, the other tenants are all in favor of the track. Even the landowners of the land that the developer is leasing are in favor of the track.

We went to the races yesterday. It was packed and a great event. My wife put $2 bets on the 6 races. She won twice and her her horse came in 2nd the other 4. I think we should do this every couple weeks...:) Prices for food and drinks were VERY reasonable. Lots of ladies had those big fancy hats just like at the derby.

Nothing like the nostalgia and tradition of a fun filled day at races.
The race circuits in the interior used to be so much fun!!!
I'm glad some of it has been brought back.

Barney, I remember Vernon Racing Days back in the '80s. Place was packed and what a good time was had by all (well by most if only my horses would have come in. )
