This is what you need to be on that track. No minivans

And it looks like the track is finished and going for them

Took the time to watch both of the videos posted up above and must say I'm really impressed. Nothing quite like fast cars, beautiful women and a scenic background to compliment things. I wish the very best for the future of Area 27 and what it will bring to the whole Okanagan once the track is fully completed.

Daspoot quote:You should do you homework before trying to pass off tripe as truffle. Net worth is your assets minus your liabilities, liquidity has precious little to do with it at all.. At least do a simple google search on calculating net worth before putting your foot so far into your mouth.

LOL at some people. There are simply put no Billionaires involved in the race track and if you think your perceived valuation of ones holdings verses street value are fact then you really have no clue as to the reality of wealth
I can perceive my holdings to be worth 5 million but in reality there worth what they would sell for on a open market and that's a fact jack
Been doing this my whole life so have a pretty good handle on percieved wealth verses reality and yours is not reality my friend

I don't get why some people are so up in arms over the possibility of "billionaires" being involved. Hilarious actually. Not a single billionaire every has a billion in the bank, it's a portfolio, you don't get to that level by banking your money into your savings account you invest it across multiple areas and more then likely have a brand with implied value like Trumps brand, although I'm sure it has taken a hit recently.

I know of one winery in Ok Falls that has -multiple- billionaire share holders, is there some stipulation that race tracks can't attract those types of people also?

Nice videos, some of the cars I have seen there turn me green with envy, unfortunately I lack the will to put down the investment required to own one of those super cars, what you pay upfront for them isn't the whole deal, some of the maintenance expenses those guys pay is insane, it really adds up.

There are also a -lot- of local people involved in this track it will be really interesting to see all the types of vehicles that will be running that track.

Going back to my post on September 9th about billionaires...........what I stated was MY OPINION about what makes a billionaire........plain and simple and cannot be changed no matter what anyone wants to add to it.........."assets minus liabilities".......whatever. When you can WRITE THE CHEQUE......you are king!

Now, back to AREA 27 news.

My wife and I took a drive by Area 27. They've done a beautiful job on it, and the track is amazing. That's a great article in *bleep* (apologies to Castanet). Hopefully those noise complaints can be dealt with, and it's not just people looking for some kind of handout.

It's actually very quiet. When you're standing near the pit lanes, you can't even hear the cars when they're at certain areas of the track.
