Challenge coverage on Castanet - Where is it!

Post by Menar Fromarz »

Did I miss something? No info on the race, no photos, no stats, no anything on this news feed?

Dance as if no one's watching, sing as if no one's listening, and live everyday as if it were your last.

Coverage of Penticton news has not improved at all with the opening of Castanet's Penticton office. Or did that not go ahead?

There's actually a ton of info, pics, etc in the Penticton Herald today. Well done!

Castanet is in the process of opening the office in Penticton. In the meantime, you can contact them to let them know of any upcoming events, news tips, etc.

Coverage would have been vastly different if it had Ironman in the title.

I could ask how? But I won't!! Suggest you consider the magnitude of the multi-sport event coming during next year's race.
From my observation I would say Penticton did very well thanks to Challenge this year. Why bash it! Ooops - sorry we know your answer to that.

Just with any news story and headliners....the more known or scandalous the Brand or person...the more you will hear or see it in the news.

as with Ironman or Challenge....well right there tells you.

I would say that the average person without a motel or restaurant could care less about the Challenge. i drove up Hway 97 just as they were picking up the pylons. Perfect timing.

All I have to say is when I left Kaleden after waiting for an opening(doesn't bother me I'm in no rush) I was -stunned- to see that amidst all the guys with road bikes there was some -insane- dude on a mountain bike with fat tires on it!

Mad respects to you dear insane man, good grief that must have been hard.
