You know, we are all going to be old one day right? I sure none of us will be complaining about discounts then.

Old Carl and the senior's discount he get's instead of the population that can really use a discount.
Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

Whether or not the seniors are going to congregate all day long and take over the place like other establishments that serve coffee and muffins in Penticton or is Starbucks not as accommodating with no senior discounts, refills or free newspapers.

Do seniors like five dollar coffees?

I get coffee at Starbucks for under 2.50. And I get free refills..
It's all about the art of the deal...

Tip for ya. Fill up your mug (or thermos) at 7/11 for a buck and 5 cents with taxes and it is way better than that gross burned bean slough water they call coffee.

Re: Old Carl's Jr.
I hate the seating at 7-11. I can't find the plug in for my charger, I can't find the store newspapers to read for free. I like the people watching at Starbucks better,, and finally I dont like the 7-11coffee that much.
Also if I am meeting someone to discuss pricing or a sale, and suggest meeting at 7-11 they wont call again...
So the short version, I can't afford to go there.
Plenty of ways to save a bit of money, but sitting on a greasy sidewalk to drink my coffee is not on the list.
But apparently it works for some..

I'd love to be a fly on the wall when you reach 55 years of age and someone calls you old
BTW, why is it being referred to as 'old Carl's Jr.? That disgusting fast food joint hasn't been in Penticton long enough to be called 'old', has it? I don't think it was even there last year.

They do not have discounts or free refills and I think you have to purchase a newspaper.
What they hey. Splurge spend 2 to 3 bux for a coffee and find out what does happen there.

I was wondering what may take that place. It is on a main industrial route.

There is nothing open 24/7 on the parkway. There is something missing in penticton.

I love stoping on the parkway at 3 am. For the light at the Indian bridge. That is always a kick in the balls.
