From the original story:

Warren Busch and his 11-year-old daughter were out on their skidoo riding in Okanagan Falls on Maple Street when they were hit by a car.

Warren suffered a broken knee, tibia, ankle and two broken ribs and has to take at least eight weeks off of work.

The daughter spent several weeks at Kelowna General Hospital with a broken hip and fractured pelvic bones. She has lost blood flow to one kidney and has a laceration on the other.

Doctors have said she is not allowed any weight bearing for 12 weeks.
