It's not exactly fair when the rules are changed mid stream.

And the voices of actual residents go unheard. The motivation for these moves by absentee owners is pretty transparent, they’re concerned with property value only.

I think it’s a fair question to ask what things would look like if it was one person - one vote as opposed to one vote per unit owned.

Renters should get a vote on some issues as well.

Strata corporations seem to be the bastion of days gone by when one can have a feifdom.

Only a strata corp can discriminate about age. Not sure how they still manage to supersede Human Rights Act.
A property owner of fee simple real estate may not discriminate based on age, yet a collective group may, not sure how and why.
