You should move to Ontario then, and see how much they are laughing right now.

It amazes me that the NDP tooters remain against everything.

Logic from BC Libs: shortage of doctors, train more. Makes some sense.

Logic from BC Greens: shortage of doctors, train more nurse practitioners, midwives, etc. to relieve the pressure, and provide incentives for doctors to go into general practice. Makes some sense.

Logic from NDP: shortage of doctors, wave Dumbeldor's wand, create regional healthcare centers and staff them with - dunno. Makes no sense.

It follows along with the hyper-partisanship that I have observed with the NDP. IF a concept or approach is not one the NDP came up with - well then it must be wrong, it must be opposed - even if it is a darn good idea! I suppose that is why every single topic in the NDP platform is prefaced with a "we hate Christy" message - because? Because that's all the NDP have, empty partisanship.

Expanding doctor training per the Libs is a great idea. The Green notions of training and increasing the responsibilities of nurse practitioners, midwives, is a great idea. Put the two together, and the system would really be a lot better - and more cost effective. That's a possibility with either a Green or Liberal government.

The NDP gives us only hyper-partisan "Nooo". They don't understand and can't accept the concepts of adopting "best practices".
The middle path - everything in moderation, and everything in its time and order.

If you read the actual story, you'd see that it was just another Christy election ploy. None of the academics agreed it was feasible.

And that 'party of no' term is being unfairly attributed to the wrong party. It's the Christy Liberals who are the 'party of no'........'no' to corporate donations, domestic and foreign; 'no' to alternative renewable energy; 'no' to every opposition policy that puts the needs of ordinary British Columbians above the greed of the very wealthy.

Hey NDP, are you going to tell us how you are going to pay for your promises in your platform? NDP: "NO"
