It seems to be a big system too. My forecast says rain starting Wednesday night and going through Sunday at least.

I'll happily help make sand bags all week if need be . Hope the evacuees and all those directly effected are doing OK.

One thing I wonder about is where all the sediment goes. If Kelowna is a natural flood plain formed in an area where the lake used to be, do the does change that? All that sediment is now filling in the lake in front of mission Creek? I guess things will get shallower and shallower there until it becomes mud flats

It fills up around the boat launch which they had to dredge out recently because it was too shallow for boats.
My Wife asked me if I knew what her favorite flower was?
Apparently "Robin Hood All Purpose" was the wrong answer!
