Why don't we just look at the data, and stop talking about ways to drain the lake.
There is only one way to drain the lake faster than it is being drained.
That would involve destroying the gate, and uncontrolled flooding of everything below that gate right to the ocean.
The best solution is to be un-involved in the draining of the lake, and more involved with your immediate surroundings/community.
