State of emergency for B.C.

Emergency Management BC announced a provincial state of emergency to ensure a co-ordinated response to the current wildfire situation and to ensure public safety.

Does anyone know can you get through on highway to Prince George?

Evacuees are being sent North to Prince George now, I'm thinking it's an unholy mess up there right now.

Go to Kamloops; take the Yellowhead (#5) through to McBride and then West to Prince George. Its not that much longer than going straight up 97.
