Campfire in a Can

I have a portable camp fire called "Campfire in a Can". It runs on propane - only about 16" diameter and 12" high with an
adjustable flame height.

I am hoping to be able to light it tonight to sit around with company - just for the ambiance and marshmallows.
Does anyone know if these are on the 'banned' list right now?

These prohibitions do not apply to cooking stoves that use gas, propane or briquettes, or to a portable campfire apparatus with a CSA or ULC rating that uses briquettes, liquid or gaseous fuel - as long as the height of the flame is less than 15 centimetres. The use of a campfire apparatus that does not meet these specifications is prohibited.

So, my answer would be that you're okay to use your propane fire, with caution, as long as the flame is low. If you want to be on the safe side and extra sure, you could call the local fire department non emergency line or the Kamloops Fire Centre and ask.

Even with the flame on high there are no sparks and shouldn't be a problem.
