Anyone know of anything going on out here? I'm in West Kelowna Estates and just saw two choppers with buckets flying over the ridge above us. Seems a strange route for fighting the Philpott fire. Just wondered if anything else might be happening. Always get jittery out here this time of year when choppers fly directly over. Too close to the top of the mountain not to feel a little vulnerable. Especially with fire conditions like this.

Could they be just finishing for the night and heading to home base?
