Thanks for all of the help. I tried everything suggested to no avail. Then last night I moved my keyboard and the problem manifested itself again. I hit a key and it stopped. The issue was the cable going into the keyboard. I can see how it got damaged with my 6 year old pushing and pulling on the keyboard tray while he uses the PC.

Will replace. Should I go wireless?

Thank you again for all of the advice. It is nice to see a message board where you ask for advice and not receive a pile of nasty smart alek comments.

Don't go wireless. Pain in the butt. Transmit all your stuff your typing to the world. I just recommend a few tyraps to keep the wires out of the way of pinch points.

I'm not a fan of wireless. There more of a pain than a benefit.

One more thing to loose. Honey have you seen my keyboard?

Plus if you have a cat you'll never find the mouse. :127:

I went with a wireless keyboard recently and love it, now I can sit back in my chair and type away with it on my lap.
I got Married because I was sick and tired of finishing my own sentences.
That's worked out great for me!
