Importing from Excel to Quickbooks

I need help, I have looked at every possible angle and I cannot import excel spreadsheets into quickbooks. does anyone have any background doing this, specifically importing product codes?

I don't have a clue but try exporting them first as csv type then import it. If you where using OpenOffice at least you would be able to see what the problem was to get it to work.

On import it gives you a preview of what is going to happen to the data if left in it's present form so you can fix the import filter right there and then. When you can't see that part it's harder to debug.
