Re: Shaw --Telus email port 25 error
The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'www.mytelus.net', Server: 'www.mytelus.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E
I started getting the same error after I got a laptop as a 2nd computer and installed a router .I have no problem with my laptop but cannot send or receive email on my desktop.I get the error message.
Any clue.....any solution ?
Thanks

check the settings in your email on your laptop. that sounds like is probably the problem.

Re: Shaw --Telus email port 25 error
Thanks ferri.
I followed the link and did everything except "You must then enter the username and password for your ISPs mail server." I did not want my password in there becuse I want to sign on when I want to access my email.
Still the same error.
You said I should check my laptop settings but my problem is with the desktop. Help!
