Filing taxes online

Postby Shawner » Mar 8th, 2012, 7:47 pm

Have been doing my taxes by hand and mailing the worksheets, etc in.

Is there any free software out there that I can use to file online via netfile?

Logitack, thanks for the tip. Tried it out, seemed to work great but just one question for you....

Do I still have to send in my tax slips to the CRA or just keep them around if they decide to do an audit?

Thanks again!

It's my understanding that when you file online, you don't have to send anything to them. But keep all paperwork for at least 6 years.

Hold onto them. CRA gets copies of everything sent to them by banks and employers.

Can you file taxes for more than one person with these programs ? I do the taxes for 3 other family members as well as myself.

studiotax allows up to 20, the others do as well, not sure of the number though.
