Junk emails, spam or just unwanted emails or maybe not
Now I'm sure Microsoft Outlook has something similar.
I work & operate on a Mac, so for those who may not be aware there is within Mac mail a way to have the 3 mentioned in title of the thread (along with others that work for you), not make it into your Inbox.
It is by using Rules within Mail, here is a link that should help show you how to do this:

Now link mention Mountain Lion it basically the same in last number of Mac OS.
Here is a youtube as well
Hope this helps with this unwanted emails.

I don't give a damn whether people/posters like me or dislike me, I'm not on earth to win any popularity contests.

Re: Junk emails, spam or just unwanted emails or maybe not
I use Thunderbird to monitor all my email accounts, including Outlook, and the spam filter is quite intuitive.
One does have to be aware however, regardless of how well you think your rules are designed, it's still a good idea to take a quick look in the junk folder now and then, because the odd genuine email does end up in there now and then.
