Cheap cell phones?

Post by flamingfingers »

My visiting family needs a phone to keep in touch with us. They will be here about 2 months. What can we get that won't cost them their firstborn son? Local Kootenays/BC calls/texting.

Thanks!!

I don't give a damn whether people/posters like me or dislike me, I'm not on earth to win any popularity contests.

Buy a used phone and put it on a pay as you go plan
My Wife asked me if I knew what her favorite flower was?
Apparently "Robin Hood All Purpose" was the wrong answer!

Pay as you go is really your only option. Koodo, Fido, Virgin and some other brands such as the Petro Can one posted above. Get what you need. But if you're requiring it for the Kootney's, I'd stay away from anything that piggy backs off of Roger's such as Fido, their coverage in that area is very poor.
Nobody wants to hear your opinion. They just want to hear their own opinion coming out of your mouth.
