Windows 7 Updates

I just clicked out of curiosity (usually I ignore the icon pooping up) and there are 16 important and 7 optional. I think I already installed like 100 updates last month.

They're mostly "security update for Windows 7 X64"

Keep ignoring the icon and you'll continue to have a slow computer. You're much wiser to simply allow the updates to be done at a convenient time for you, then the computer will be ready to go when you need it.

In most cases the problems stem from how the user is utilizing the computer, and in many cases I've found the users simply don't have the desire to change their ways, consequently their computer time is an ongoing battle and not too enjoyable a one at that.

Windows 7 is one of the most solid operating systems to be put out and is still used by many who haven't migrated to touch screens, thus have no burning desire to cough up money for Win 8.
