Help! Laptop won't sign on
My laptop will not log on. When I turn it on, it no longer says "switch user" below the log on window AND when I enter my info, it says, "User profile failed the login".
Husband tried and he also says that there is no Restore Point. He had tried adding a new user.....
Seriously, HELP ..... Please !

Sounds like the profile is corrupt. Is there any important data on there?

Not sure if this applies - you didn't give a lot of detail:

At the very least I'd try its first advice, safe mode:
A quick fix can be to restart your PC, but if this doesn’t work you’ll need to restart again and boot into Safe mode. Do this by pressing F8 before you see the Windows loading screen and choosing Safe Mode from the menu that appears. Safe Mode logs you into the built-in Windows administrator account, but you might find that some options don’t work.
