This is so cool. Underwater archeology!
I wonder what our world looked like at the time this happened. What were the climates like? The earth's climate is always in a state of flux, never staying the same. We only think it does because we can remember short periods where it averaged out.

400 feet is about 122 meters, or 122000mm. In a period of 13800 years, that is about 8.8mm/year change in sea level. More than twice what it is today and man wasn't even involved. Assuming the land mass didn't rise or fall much. At one point you could walk across the Bering straight.
