The newest update (49.0.2) causes lag in website games in Firefox that use Flash. Found a lot of games are much more difficult to play. Many on syfygames dot com are nearly impossible to play until I checked the above website and followed the instructions. Viola no more lag.
There are other helpful hints to allow smoother game play on Flash based game websites.

I use the torch browser for all flash and java games, much more faster
