Here is a neat trick on Apps that use a Bar Code Scan. Eg. PC Points with "Presidents Choice".
I was bothered with ads and popups on my phone but still wanted the points for discounts.
I installed the PC App, opened my account with ID & PW, opened up the Bar Code and took a Screen Shot of the code. Saved the picture in my Gallery or Notes or Keep anything that's quick to open.
I uninstalled the PC App, so now when I shop, I just open up the image and they scan with their gun. I get the points but no other garbage.
