Not a solution to your problem I'm afraid, but for what it's worth Yahoo has been on a downward spiral for some time, and frankly I would look to distancing myself from them.

I may be wrong but I think the writing is on the wall there.

So I'm assuming that your'e using Yahoo Mail? If so, have you tried using another email address such as Gmail? Perhaps that way you can pinpoint if the problem is with Yahoo or the iPad itself.

I've always considered gmail to be the most user friendly, with more generous allowances when it comes to email attachments, compared to even my ISP's email.

It's also very easy to forward e-mail from one provider to another.
I have several addresses but they all forward to the one I am using at the moment. I did cancel the Yahoo one I had for many years because of their recent troubles and over a few other issues.
