I'd like to start a Youtube blog on hockey but don't know how to save the video from the webcam on my laptop. Dell technical support hasn't been any sort of help and there wasn't a manual. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

You should be able to use the webcam program that came with your Laptop or download something like VLC and use it.
Windows Moviemaker should work as well.

Google would help you as well to look up how to do it.

Bsuds and Kelownaman - thank you for the information. The laptop didn't come with a user manual (oddly enough) and Google hasn't been much help. However, with what you've provided and what I've already discovered maybe I can make this work. Cheers!
