Tech question: Automatic log in

Postby fluffy » Jan 25th, 2018, 7:43 am

I notice that a few sites I visit regularly are now requiring me to log in every time I visit even though I consistently select the “log me in automatically” option. I’m using an iPhone 6, could the problem be some setting on my phone?

Go into settings> safari> turn on auto-fill (if you want to automatically login).
Going forward each site after you login will have pop up asking you to save your username & password for that site. Next time you go to this site it should auto fill your username & password.

suggestion don't auto fill for banking or credit card info

Or to be more secure use lastpass.
Nowadays it's almost rude to ask a question without Googling it first!

I don't have a smartphone, on my desktop & laptop I have keychain. Works very well, of course I don't add banking login or any CC info. That info is locked away in my brain, which is not hackable.
