Telus Pay as you go billing
I got a message from Telus this morning saying they billed me $3 for an SD add on for a month on my pay as you go phone.
First off I can't figure out what this SD add on is for and while looking at my billing they have also billed me twice for this month on all 3 of our phones!
So far I have been on hold for the last 35 min (and counting) to talk to a rep!

I got Married because I was sick and tired of finishing my own sentences.
That's worked out great for me!

I HATE Telus for that... it takes forever to get someone on the phone, way longer than any other provider like Shaw for example...
Sometimes I get on their chat-line at the same time as I call in, they usually answer sooner than the call-in and then I ask them to call me back, which sometimes they refuse, but more often than not they'll call you back ... You may have to "moan" a bit to get them to call you, but it usually works.
And speaking of "moaning" ... If I was you, I would do some of that today because of the double billing, I would use that to get something from them for your inconvenience and time wasted on hold ... $25 bill credit would be a good start, or a free month of service.

Their chat line is now an auto response, you don't get a live agent anymore.
I'm considering sending them a bill for my time if they don't do something pretty quick.
Almost 90 min now.

Don't, but open the chat line at the same time... they usually answer long before the phone

I just logged onto their chat to check, it put me into the queue after typed "agent", 9th in line, not bad at all... try it (but dont hang up until you get someone on the line)... good luck!

Isn't that the truth! Telus hold times really are unacceptable. I think they do it on purpose, make you wait so long that you just give up and pay the bill or put up with whatever else is wrong instead of holding... profit tactic.

Lately Shaw is horrible! Twice I've tried calling in the afternoon and was told I'm +850 in line. No problem, I'll use live chat instead ... searching for an agent's countdown clock kept bouncing around between 19 and 1 minute only to finally say there's no agents available! Someone suggested calling in the morning is faster, well after waiting 1 hour 30 minutes I get through only to be redirected to Shaw's loyalty program that took another 30 minutes to speak with an agent! The agent was more interested in selling me Crave TV saying after the free month I will be charged but I could easily cancel it by calling Shaw. Calling Shaw? NO THANKS! Either the long wait times are intentional or Shaw's down to one person answering the phones and live chat.

Simple solution. Get rid of the CRTC. Telus and Shaw would be out of business in a few weeks
