Found a flashlight/multi light in the middle of a downtown street (kelowna)at about 5pm
on Nov.20. Looks like its pretty expensive. Think it fell off of someones truck when they
were going home that night. Its something someone probably uses at their job---I'm guessing.
Pm me with details, color, etc and if it sounds like yours I will contact you if you leave a phone #.

This morning on the stairs between West Ridge Estates and Westlake Properties, I found a couple of expensive electronics and papers with what look to be important codes. There were at least three kinds of car chargers strewn about, and papers scattered all over the place. Clearly, a car or several, were broken into.

I hope you notified the RCMP of your find?

I'll probably donate my lunch break to accomplish this task.

Lost......or actually stolen back in June, Stirling 5x10 ft utility trailer with ramp gate. Stolen from Quail Ridge along with Cabela Ford 350 but truck has since been found. Rotten thieves may have dropped trailer somewhere for later recovery.

Anybody missing a sailboat?

Post by Tootsie »

White with blue trim 25 footer (approx.?) with dark blue sail washed up in shallow water Okanagan Centre between the museum and the boat launch.

*Update: The boat has now drifted north. Last spotted on west side of Okanagan Lake this morning near La Casa. We tried getting a response from various offices. Nobody felt it was within their jurisdiction to deal with it. RCMP came and looked at it, said they'd try to get a boat to come out - nada. District of Lake Country wanted nothing to do with it either. So people with boats still buoyed on the lake - beware. There's a 25 ft sailboat out there floating around that nobody wants to deal with. Who knows, could be a dead body inside. Or maybe owner had a heart attack and fell overboard. At any rate - big wind comes up and might smash into other boats. Weird thing is - no visible serial number or name on boat. Don't all boats legally have to have an identifier visible on outside?

Found a hearing aid near Capri.

Post by TechSpecialist »

If you or anyone you know that may have lost a hearing aid, between Capri area and Dominos pizza.

I FOUND IT!
- PM me with description of it and what path you would have walked.

Also, if anyone has any suggestions on maybe a way I can do more to find the owner? I feel sick to my stomach right now about the amount of stress the owner might be going through....

Posting this on Reddit.com/r/kelowna and Castanet Forums.

Pretty sure hearing aids have a serial number. Maybe take it to a hearing centre and they can trace it.

Did you "lose" your beautiful Blue Schwinn bike today? Between 3 pm and 3:40? I have photos of the guy wheeling it along side himself as he was riding his own bike.

No police report because they are supposed to pretend he's the owner and moving for a friend.

He was in the Dog Pound with it last I saw.

For the love of GAWD,

Bad enough my friend told me about the time her BBQ was stolen off her walk up balcony.

But today a specialized Blue Comp was stolen right off another person's balcony around 4:30 am today. Two young guys who can't possibly hold down jobs due to their illness with drugs managed to climb to her second floor balcony and steal her bike right off it.

Who would ever think they'd have to lock their bike on a balcony, or maybe she did and they carried up bolt cutters.

ETA: Recovered by the RCMP.

Note: owner had great photos of it. Had filed a police report immediately. And reported on various facebook sites. All this helps in recovery.

Do not pay any attention to anyone who says, "no use to file a report" because that is one of the best ways to recover stolen property.

Who lost an Arrow brand truck canopy last night? Or notice it's off your neighbour's truck? Or hear of a friend who lost one? Top sustained scratches but no windows are broken so far.

It fell off the back of a truck on Gordon Drive, people moved it to the side of the road. A guy with a shopping cart picked it up and hauled to the back of Gordon Place. He and two buddies humped it up over the fence, where it now sits unless it is moved out by now, all this around 11 pm November 30.

I'm sure they will be happy for the rightful owner to show up to claim it.

It is, or was, at Gordon Place, corner of Laurier Ave and Gordon Drive. In the back, beside the fence if it is not gone or covered by a tarp by now.
