Not being able to find Mandarin oranges. Well, it's not really a pet peeve but I didn't want to start a new thread:) Seriously, though, where can we find them? They're always here before Christmas but I haven't seen any.

I just found some in bulk at Save-On-Foods Foods in West Kelowna. A bit pricey but very good.

Save On has had some a while ago, and I bought 5 or 6 boxes a month ago, but now there's nothing but a few boxes left with half rotten oranges in them. Totally weird. I've had Mandarin oranges every Christmas since I was 5, but it looks like this year will be the first exception.

Here's a pet peeve of mine: You're trying to find a parking place at the mall and finally! There it is! As you look more closely you see that a driver has parked well over the line and effectively taken up two parking spots. You don't have a Smart Car to squeeze in there so you just start the hunt all over again.

They have lots of things that we buy there because they are a lot cheaper than anywhere else. Not just by a small amount either. When you save a couple of dollars per item it adds up fast.
