Ordering through drive thru and saying the .exact. thing (combos modification or choice of) you want, to have them say... is that crispy or grilled, fries, combo?

And I'm like.... weren't you listening? At all? Ugh Lol

Oh oh, since I'm here....
Ordering an item to have them reply..is that everything? After every item said.

(face palming) to both. :dash:

It would be more accurate and honest to call it The Advertising Hour instead of the News Hour (tv).

Failing to admit one's wrongness and conveniently passing over salient points in favour of hammer-strong heuristic notions, during the course of online discussions. Also, taking/quoting one line or sentence out of a paragraph to further ones agenda. So f :cuss: lame, disengenous and out right ignorant.

's is not, nor will it ever be how to indicate plurality.

Why... why why why is this so commonplace now? Even the experienced and otherwise intelligent have begun to do this.

Is it because teachers other than 'English' teachers stopped docking marks in school for spelling and punctuation errors because they're not 'English' teachers? (That's what my daughter's science teacher told me when I noticed not one single spelling correction on a science paper.) It used to be real incentive to be accurate with spelling and punctuation in ALL SUBJECTS because a socials report that was otherwise accurate in its content could suffer in marks due to sloppy spelling errors.

People who quote a long post directly following the same post and don't condense it down shorter.

Do you think we need to read it twice!

Then there are those who post a link with no comments regarding said link. Are we all supposed to read your mind?

Focus people, focus.
