Peeps in attack mode for no rational reason
Sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice. There’s a certain point at which ignorance becomes malice, at which there is simply no way to become THAT ignorant except deliberately and maliciously.

Headlines like this;
https://www.castanet.net/edition/news-s ... htm#242288

The person was not killed by a dump truck.

He died because He was in collision with another vehicle, which just
happened to be a dump truck.

Terribly misleading and sensationalist headline.

It's not even determined how the collision took place.

People overpricing their shiznit on the classifieds, get real, people.
https://classifieds.castanet.net/detail ... t/3664660/
$2000
$350 for the teleconverter, which comes WITH the one on Amazon
So, $2350 for what Amazon is selling for $1695.
https://www.amazon.ca/Sigma-150-600mm-F ... 00mm+nikon

Both have no warranty, because the one on Amazon is likely a grey market lens. Do a little research before you try this at home, kids.

Oh, that is one my "favourite" pet peeves. Some people on the classifieds are almost as unrealistically bad with their pricing as the slimy Realtors trying to pawn off some piece-O-crap fixer-upper for $500,000.

Quoting a post and then saying nothing relevant about it. Why quote it?
Quoting a post and then not answering the question but commenting on something else that was meaningless.
And posters push the "like" button. Some people need to get back to basics before participating in a dialogue again.

City of Kelowna fine local businesses for roadside signs advertising their wares yet province can keep their big signs on highway bragging 4-laning is "complete" from Hwy 33 to Edwards Rd. months after. Take the construction signs down if the job is complete. OK I'm over it, thanks for a place to rant.

I hate those signs. It's the kinda of pat-on-the-back propaganda you'd expect in Russia, not Canada. My theory is that the bigger the signs and the louder the government gets about how they are improving and/or maintaining roads, the crappier of a job they're actually doing. Take the massive "4-laning to Prince George" sign at Cache Creek that's like 20 feet wide. At the current pace of their 4-laning, my grandkids (that haven't even been born yet) will be dead when the "Cariboo Connector" project is complete. They're working at a pace of about 2 km/year. Only 300 km to go!

Pet Peeve: When you tell people that the price is firm, and then they ask if the price is negotiable.
