Pet Peeve: When you tell people that the price is firm, and then they ask if the price is negotiable.

Similarly, lowballing you with the enticing off of “CASH”.

Sorry if that was assumed...I’m not running a credit check to set up financing for you on a $300 living room set.

Srsly, as if everyone actually needs the CASH when the price is the price regardless of how you pay for it. Hint: not everyone is enticed by the lure of untraceable cash, sometimes you need to get the damned price to make it to the next level of spending you need to do.
Using cash is one of your few forms of privacy: use it or lose it. 1984 isn't the only Orwell novel that needs to to made fiction again.

Like what are people offering if not cash?

So many people go “I’ll give you 2/3 of what you’re asking, cash!”

I wasn’t asking for $250 worth of Pokémon cards and a back rub sir.

How’s that different than cash? Heck, I gotta go to the bank to deposit the cash. If anything that’s more work for me.

E-transfer and cash aren't the same.
With actually cold hard cash, you retain some semblace of privacy.
E-transfers, not so much.

How can you not know that? :135:

That's why I have a nice big (too heavy to carry) safe in the house. It has important papers and stuff as well as some extra cash in it.

The Banks give diddly squat in the way of interest so there is not much incentive to making a deposit.

I have bought and sold many things over the years, and without exception cash is exchanged.

If I list the price as firm, that means you pay the full price because the price is already a good deal, and there are many people who will want to pay full price. It's only a matter of who will get there first.

My pet peeve today is the cold *atchoo* that won't go away.
PLEASE use spellcheck. If that is too hard, consider installing the Grammarly (free!) app that will not only spellcheck for you (AND offer corrections!) but also make sure that your sentences are grammatically correct.

You're welcome.

Whenever a big rig has any involvement in a wreck,
the automatic blame game gets saddled on the trucker.
By media, and the general public.

Don't let facts get in the way of a sensationalist story.

Studies have concluded that of Semi involved wrecks, 80-90% were
the causation of the passenger vehicle.

It's a couple years old but,

Me too. A few weeks ago I was basically waving money trying to find a minivan. Out of all of my inquiries to give people $$$ only 3 got back to me.
Also a month ago , I had a ad posted to sell my car. Ad had simple instructions...to call me-no texts etc. No one could follow my instructions. Finally I changed the ad to say the first person that can follow my simple instructions gets the car for $1.00. Finally after even more people tried to desperately text me to get the car, someone called, and I had a winner.
Some may view my above politically incorrect opinions as 'harsh' and may even be offended by them. Some think political correctness will be our undoing. Save the planet, spay or neuter your kids.
