Of course it's about the kitchen.

pssfffttttt....Dogspoiler just got banished from the kitchen and Bsuds has to supply the hose.

Other than that, I want to replace all the laminate with hardwood.

Cool. I just realized I bought this apartment. lol, no, really.

So I have made a list of things to do. Bathroom first. Jetted tub, low flow crapper, and get rid of the vanity and maybe get a pedestal sink.

Then I thought about it. It is a seniors building. The average age is 103. I ain't gonna recover the money I put into a renovation. So maybe I'll just crazy glue a hand rail to the tub and install a humidifier and move on.

Add a pole to assist you to balance from tub to toilet and, voila, up graded for a seniors paradise. You'll recover your dough in no time.

Onsie if you are in a Senior building, don't replace a vanity with a pedestal sink! There needs to be a place to store TP and Depends!
My kitchen could use an update for my own "vanity" purposes, but for reasons of practicality and parsimony it's just fine how it is. An ordinary house does not need an extraordinary kitchen.
It's possible to do all the right things and still get a bad result.

A big white thing to chill the beer.
A smaller white thing to cook the steak.
A stainless sink to pile the mess in.
What more do you need ?
