Not there any more, and I'll never work for a union again. SR was my first and last.
Now making four times the money and I get to use my skills.
I've talked with some tradesman still there, it's no better.
Good luck to them, Kelowna needs some where to work.

It was funny. The other day I was just recalling the Sunrype strike and wondering how everything has turned out for everybody and lo and behold it is still a topic!! It has been even that long since I looked at Castanet. What has it been now, 2 years since the strike ended? Anyways, as one of the truck drivers that was crossing the line...I am no longer with that company and have moved on to bigger and better things. So my question is...are the majority of the workers who were there during the strike still there? If not have you found something better?

I guess they've signed a new collective agreement, good till the summer of 2015.
