Listening to music with good quality over-ear headphones (got with Christmas bonus), typing on my new keyboard (all the keys work - Santa was good to me) and trying out my new (to me) mouse. And my husband who helped me navigate the installation of the drivers and calibration. I will definitely recommend Razer products, these are sweet!

Oh, and the sales down at Pinned on Water Street. My best friend and I had a blast trying on clothes (and yes, we did spoil ourselves - but only one dress each). Then coffee at GioBean - what a lovely way to spend the afternoon.

I don't often spend money on myself, but needs have been met and it feels good :yahoo:

Discovering someone I thought of as really tough minded is actually a scardy cat snowflake.
As WW3 develops, no one is going to be dissing the "preppers." What have you done?

driving in middle-of-nowhere Alberta when "Pumped Up Kicks" came on the radio

except with certain lyrics blanked out:

All the other kids with the pumped up kicks
You better run, better run, outrun my _____
All the other kids with the pumped up kicks
You better run, better run, faster than my ____

shook my head and smiled - but then got mad

Busy working overtime just to send more to Ottawa ...while the over-regulation loving, limp wristed, la-la-land dwellers keep creeping over more of my world.

Toronto Zoo ... Our greater one-horned rhino calf born on January 4, 2018 was exposed to water for the first time on January 8th, but being only four days old, he was not too sure of it and was startled when splashed by mom, who was happily enjoying her shower.

Dance as if no one's watching, sing as if no one's listening, and live everyday as if it were your last.

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.

[icon_lol2.gif] This is almost too exciting:

Someone tried to break into one of KIRO Radio 97.3 FM employee's cars...with a mop.

The station then took the liberty of narrating the man's unsuccessful attempt with an...interesting...play-by-play. (SOUND ON!)

It really is one of the funniest things on the 'net today. I hope the guy didn't have lasting damage tho.

I like the commentary where the announcers says, "the dirty part of the mop is under his arm, remember folks" or something like that.

My friends super cute lil girl ( barely 2) locked her out of the house when she dashed to put out the trash, When she was yelling for her to unlock the door - the Darling shrugged and walked away from the window LOL. Guess who had extra keys cut?
