When anywhere south of Dehart and Lakeshore was out of town
I miss being able to ride my dirt-bike right from my shop, to the hills

P.S. missing my dirt-biking right now regardless.....

I remember when chocolate bars were larger, and you could get them for a quarter. I remember "lipstick" candy. I remember finding pop bottles left behind by teenagers, and walking away with a large bag of penny candy from the corner store from cashing them in.

I remember neighbourhood barbeques.
PLEASE use spellcheck. If that is too hard, consider installing the Grammarly (free!) app that will not only spellcheck for you (AND offer corrections!) but also make sure that your sentences are grammatically correct.

You're welcome.

I was six years old and tried to repop the last nights popcorn in the plastic bowl we all ate it from...

That's when I first learned that dad used to be a fireman and my mom could hit anything from 20 paces with her shoe...
I payed attention in High school....But not to what they were trying to teach me..

I remember 10 cent pepsis with a one cent bottle deposit. I remember when a six year old could go to the cornerstore and buy firecrackers and matches.
Seeking the apartment that is creating leasing interest concerns knowledgeable seclusive *bleep* excessively.

Although I do not remember this, when I was born Milk cost $0.15 a quart (liter). Per capita income was $1,150. A new car cost $734. Steak was $0.44 per pound.

In 1973, which I DO remember, a gallon of gas cost $0.38 per gallon (4 liters). A dozen eggs cost $0.77. We contracted and built our first house for $21,780. Slang included Dig it, Laid back and Far out.

And in 1975 I was working a union job in a hospital being paid $6 per hour. And it was NOT as a cleaner, laundress or aid.

The first house I bought cost $14,000.

I remember when you dialed a phone number, you actually dialed the phone number! I don't remember "ringing" anyone, though. I'm not that old. :D

We would take the hood off a car and use it as a toboggan

The lid off a clothes washer and use it as a saucer ie; toboggan,
